Our Wonder and Awe in the Redwoods event was everything I hoped it would be. Sixty people came together on a Sunday afternoon to appreciate redwood trees together. I think I’ve found my church. Irene Reti and Coleen Douglas and I didn’t coordinate what we were going to do, but of course the resonances of theme brought the whole thing together.
We used one of Irene’s photos in the poster. When I mentioned this in my introduction, I choked up. I’m still choked up.
A friend recorded the show for us, and I’ll post it eventually after it’s edited. She suggested we record interviews of ourselves after the event, and I’m so glad we did.
